the third time in 2 years, 4C has to make a trip to the airport again.


another classmate is leaving us.


the news were shocking, because it was so sudden and it hit us right in the face. we only saw hengyi when we were heading to the lt and we just thought he woke up late as usual.who knows, we realised later on that he was going to leave us for good back to china.and it is highly possible that we will never see each other again. its so weird to think that he was just here for school on monday, and now we will probably never see him again.


his letter was so touching and it made us all cry during the math lesson. many of us were trying to keep it in, but apparently, all it took was one person to cry to start a chain reaction.


yes, hengyi is right. 是离别的时候了。


once again, another beloved classmate is leaving.


this is one of the most difficult partings as he has spent the longest time with us.


we have studied together for 2 years, or rather lesser than 2 years.although its not a long time, i wont say it was a short duration either.


i will remember his bouncy long hair, his squeal, the times when i scared him by screaming his name, the times where he always fell asleep during the lectures and the lessons, the times where we played soccer together during pe and shouted at him all the while, the times where we mimicked him and the times where we laughed at him for being extremely late for school.


and of course, we will remember him as hengyi, a friendly, outgoing friend. a person worth knowing, worth befriending.


it is indeed a depressing thought on thinking that we could have completed the 2 year journey and move on to year5 together, but we didnt.


whatever it is, im glad i got to know him.im glad we were in 4C together. and im very happy that im in class 4c. even though we were an extremely detached class at first, so much so that many teachers had to make us play class bonding games and motivational talks.


in the end, we became a class more united than ever, who won many competitions, who cheered each other on during difficult times. and this would have been impossible without even one person.we all played a part in making 4cordonbleu such a united class.


many people may say that our class is nothing to be proud of.many teachers may hate our class because we dont participate in the discussions.but im proud of this class, i know that we are one of the best classes across the level. we may not answer questions, we many not respond in class, but im very sure that deep down in all of us, we are good students through and through. we worry about exams, we have a good attitude, we are always willing to go to greater heights. and most importantly, we are always ready to offer help and encourage one another.


4c may be a stupid class in people's eyes. made up of nerdy guaikias. but we all know, we have many merits as a class that is definitely worth our pride.


we will respect hengyi's choice to leave 4C because after all, he is not really leaving this class, but this education here. if he is happier there back at his home, we should feel happy for him too. 也许是一种解脱.


just know that hengyi will always be part of 4C. and we will never forget the happy memories and time we have spent together.
